Officially, Starberry took 2005 off. (except of course for a CMJ appearance of our friendly neighborhood indie rock fan.) It seems that the first year of raising twins turned out to be a lot of work. Who would have thought it to be true.
2006 will see the return of starberry to the squared circle.

we know and take full responsibility.

the gold drumset has been reassembled.
the rick & stack are good to go.
life can get so busy - surely you agree - but never too busy that we can't descend the stairs and get our rock on.

as many of you new visitors know, starberry hit it at the CMJ/Rock Hall Music Fest yesterday in true starberry style. click the link to streaming video & see what spiderman had to say (about a minute into the interviews).

I know. It has been a while since we have updated the website. Everything is going great at the starberry HQ. On December 16, Jennifer and I became the proud parents of two awesome baby girls, Sophia and Natalie. And unlike us, they were early. After a short hospital stay, the girls came home and are doing great. I check them daily for superpowers, but nothing noticeable has turned up yet. However, everytime one of the girls sneezes, the lights in the house dim... hmmmmm.
Starberry has done acoustic versions of 9 new songs and we're starting to plan the 2nd Annual Starberry Sausage Party for this summer, so stay tuned. ROCK ON.

I am sure you have all been wondering, "where has starberry been? have they forsaken us? did we do something to make them angry?" the answer is no. we still love you all, and we still rock.
starberry, contemplating our own mortality, started to think, "sure, we will leave behind a handful of rockin' CDs to show the younger generation what rock-n-roll is all about... but is that enough?" we needed to make sure that the future generations will also be safe from bad music.
ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, jennifer and I are expecting twins.
so we will be a little busy until the beginning of next year. but fear not, we are already hard at work on starberry III. and with the addition of the twins, music will be a safer place for a long time to come. in the meantime, we will keep you updated with cool stuff on the website.
and remember, when there were two sets of footprints, that was when starberry was carrying you.

a big starberry salute goes out to all of you... and you know who you are... our people who helped make the 1st Annual Starberry Sausage Party such a success. all the bands really tore it up, as did DOMINICK DIMANTI, who took home the belt and the big check by eating 5 sausage sandwiches in eight minutes! the world really does still have heroes.
we will see you again next year.

shout out to the people of buffalo! the first trip outside our nest in ohio was rawkin', indeed. the crowd gobbled up our supply of CDs, sweet. and how cool was the mix the sound guy played between bands! burn me some of that. thanks again to the missing planes for setting up a great show - big fun.

so the starberries were down in the lair bangin' and strummin' our way through what will soon be starberry II. we realized now was the time to put the money on our minds. and since no suits are bankrolling this dog & pony show, we sent the better looking of the two over to Rock City to battle a one-armed bandit.
starberry: 1, bandit: 0
starberry II is right on course, now with a full tank of gas.

starberry has been back in the lab (a.k.a. the basement) mixing up some beats & riffs for starberry 2. so far, so good. the six million dollar band is stronger, faster, and possibly even louder. we'll keep you posted, but right now ive gotta watch the end of sanford & son.
